The Enrico Fermi Museum is open to school groups from Tuesday to Thursday, with two available time slots:

Visits are by reservation only, using the form below.
As the Museum is located within a research centre, it is closed on weekends.
The ticket price for guided tours is €3 per student for lower and upper secondary schools; admission is free for accompanying teachers and visitors with disabilities.
Payment details and instructions (bank transfer) will be provided by email upon booking.
Given the topics covered, relating to historical events and scientific discoveries of the twentieth century, the visit is particularly suitable for students in the final three years of upper secondary school.
The tour can also be adapted for students in the first two years of upper secondary school, with specific activities available for third-year students of lower secondary school.
Guided tours are available for international school groups visiting Rome on educational trips or participating in exchange programmes. Advance booking is always required.
The tour of the Enrico Fermi Historical Museum of Physics will show students how the most important historical events of the 20th century intertwined with the exploration of the nucleus. Science is part of the cultural context, just like art, literature, and philosophical or political ideas.
With the guidance of CREF researchers, students will learn what scientific discoveries need: a mixture of intuition, rigour, method, dedication, many mistakes, and a pinch of chance.
